There are some foods that can cause diarrhea or sharpen her and should be avoided in the astringent diet. To prevent diarrhea, it is necessary to not eat the following foods:
Dairy products (milk or cheese), because they are delaying the digestion due to lactose, so are not advisable. Yogurt can be consumed (the lactose in them has already been partially digested by bacteria).
Foods with FAT or fried and sausages because they irritate the gastrointestinal mucosa and delay the digestion. We must also avoid raw fruit or vegetable fiber.
Fats (butter, margarine, oil), dried fruits, spicy foods, integral flours, fruits or vegetables.
The situation is compounded by coffee and the orange juice with sugar (stimulate the stomach reflexes and they should be avoided in an astringent diet).
